This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules for using InfoZambia’s website, mobile application, directory, community platform, messaging tools, academy, and events (collectively, the “Platform”).
This Policy forms part of the InfoZambia Terms of Service.
By using InfoZambia, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Purpose of the Platform
InfoZambia exists to:
- Connect Zambian SMEs
- Promote legitimate businesses
- Facilitate collaboration and opportunity
- Provide business education and networking
All use must align with these objectives.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use InfoZambia to:
3.1 Illegal Activities
- Promote illegal products or services
- Facilitate fraud, scams, or deception
- Violate Zambian law or applicable international laws
3.2 Fraud & Misrepresentation
- Provide false business information
- Impersonate another individual or company
- Falsely claim verification, endorsements, or qualifications
- Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
3.3 Spam & Unsolicited Promotion
- Send bulk unsolicited messages
- Harvest email addresses or contact details
- Use automated tools to scrape data
- Post repetitive or irrelevant promotional content
Messaging tools must not be used for cold mass outreach.
3.4 Harmful or Abusive Conduct
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate users
- Post defamatory or discriminatory content
- Share hate speech or incite violence
- Engage in bullying or abusive behavior
InfoZambia promotes professional, respectful business conduct.
3.5 Malicious Technical Activity
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform
- Bypass security measures
- Reverse engineer platform functionality
- Use bots without authorization
3.6 Misuse of Listings
Business listings must NOT:
- Promote pyramid schemes or unregulated financial scams
- Advertise counterfeit goods
- Promote misleading medical or financial claims
- Contain sexually explicit or inappropriate material
- Include copyrighted materials without permission
3.7 Inappropriate Content
You may not post content that is:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit
- Violent or graphic
- Politically extremist
- Clearly unrelated to business or entrepreneurship
3.8 Reviews & Feedback Standards
When submitting reviews:
- You must have genuine experience with the business
- Reviews must be honest and factual
- You must not request payment for positive reviews
- You must not post reviews on your own business
InfoZambia reserves the right to remove suspicious or abusive reviews.
3.9 Event Conduct
At InfoZambia events, attendees must:
- Behave professionally
- Avoid harassment or disruptive behavior
- Respect venue policies
InfoZambia may remove individuals without refund for misconduct.
3.10 Academy & Educational Content
Users may not:
- Record or redistribute course materials
- Share login credentials
- Resell InfoZambia training content
Educational materials are for personal or registered business use only.
3.11 Advertising Standards
Advertisers must:
- Ensure claims are truthful
- Avoid misleading pricing
- Comply with financial and consumer protection laws
- Avoid harmful or deceptive promotions
InfoZambia may reject advertisements at its discretion.
3.12 Data & Privacy Respect
Users must not:
- Collect personal data from other users without consent
- Use platform data for unauthorized marketing
- Share private communications publicly
Respecting member privacy is mandatory.
4. Enforcement
If this Policy is violated, InfoZambia may:
- Remove content
- Suspend listings
- Restrict messaging privileges
- Terminate accounts
- Report unlawful conduct to authorities
Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal.
